Police are searching for a group of offenders responsible for a series of burglaries overnight targeting businesses across Launceston using a stolen BMW.

The blue 2006 BMW X5 wagon had been stolen from Beauty Point last night, and was believed to be present at the burglaries.
The first occurred shortly after midnight at Liquor Stax in Riverside when four offenders forced entry to the premises and stole a quantity of alcohol.
About half an hour later, the same offenders forced entry to the 9/11 bottle shop at Newstead, again stealing a quantity of alcohol and leaving in the same BMW.
The car was used to steal petrol from the Coles Express on Hoblers Bridge Road shortly afterwards.
AUSTRALIA DAY 2021 IN NORTHERN TASMANIA:
The Kings Meadows newsagency was broken into about 1.30am and a quantity of cigarettes were stolen. Police believe the same offenders and vehicle were involved.
The stolen BMW has since been found by police.
The offenders are yet to be located.
Tasmania Police is urging anyone with dash cam footage of the blue BMW in those areas at the time, or with CCTV footage, to contact police on 6777 3945 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
