With 35 races scheduled for seven different classes it was always going to be a busy evening.
Ash Cleary had an amazing night in the late models after failing to finish one heat due to mechanical failure.
The late models had time trials to determine starting positions for their first heat.
For their final, pole sitter Callum Harper chose to invert the top seven starting positions with the added bonus of extra prize money should he win.
Tim Pike started from pole with Cody Gay on his outside.

A turn one pile up involving four cars would send Gay to the rear as Brad Smith went out at the next restart with mechanical failure.
Once they finally got underway, Cleary jumped away from Pike with Harper in third with Owen Tubb and Matt Graham having a huge battle behind them.
Harper went on the attack and past Pike on lap three setting off after Cleary.
Cleary clearly had other ideas and kept Harper at bay and extended his lead to win by over five seconds.
Over 40 street stocks entries meant plentiful action with Matt Hammond leading early, however lost a belt from the engine ending his night.
Ben Riley inherited the lead with John Riley and Corey Bauld battling hard behind him.
Bauld and Steven Harvey would race side by side for several laps midway through the 20-lap final.
In the end Bauld would take a thrilling victory from Ben Riley and Harvey with David O'Rourke winning the consolation final.
The Formula 500's were won by Adam Garwood from Ricki Hall and Taylor Johnson.
The first round of the Kleen Green speedway series was won by Brock Webster with Michael Brimfield and Jye Baldwin rounding out the podium.
Peter Johnston won from pole position in the Tassie sixes, leading his daughter Claire Johnston for the opening laps.
Claire lost oil pressure and pulled infield handing second to hard charging Stephanie Howard.
Howard challenged for the lead finishing second by 0.2 seconds from Todd Russell.
The modified's were won by Luke Gunn with Brad Herbert right behind him at the line ahead of Josh Marston third.
Daniel Brooks won in the AMCA's ahead of Rodney Bassett and Adrian Bassett.
The season continues next Friday and Saturday at Latrobe Speedway with the super sedan Grand Prix.
