The ACL swing bowler made club history, bowling an astounding eight for 23 against Perth.
Martin was honest when he said he wasn't expecting to play as well as he did that day.
"I didn't know what was going to happen really," he said.
"Perth can be a really strong team so I was trying to get early wickets and then I guess momentum came along and I just kept going."

The 25-year-old's eight-for sets an A-grade record for ACL, club president Sam Gannon said.
"This is certainly our best for premier league going back 70 years," he said. TCL president Darrell Whyte said the A-grade record still belongs to Legana's Craig Ashdown, who bowled 9-47 in 1984.
"It was more just trying to get another one for the team really," Martin said.
"Whether it was me, Simon [Chappell] or Harron [Arshad] on the other end - it was more the team getting wicket after wicket more than anything."
These are my best figures comfortably which was nice - to really get a big bag, I've never taken five before.

Martin has been with ACL since 2018, he said his performance on Saturday was his career highlight so far.
"These are my best figures comfortably which was nice - to really get a big bag, I've never taken five before. To do it once and to take eight was nice," he said.
Martin's accomplishment adds to an already successful season for ACL, who have won their last five games.
"It's always good when you can roll a team for under 50 ... we're in a good place heading into Christmas," Martin said.
"We have a couple of big games against Trevallyn and Longford but we'll just try and keep momentum going through."
