Dismissed for 119 chasing 174 for victory, the Northern side struggled for constancy through the middle order but coach Tim Coyle hopes they are back on track for their next two-day fixture against South Hobart Sandy Bay.
"Obviously we bowled quite well in that game and gave ourselves a really achievable target to chase with the bat and we didn't execute our plans," he said.

"That's the message, you can have all the plans in the world but if you're not prepared to commit to them and do your best to execute them - there's no point having any plans."
For the important clash, the Raiders welcome back experienced batsman and former skipper Miles Barnard following his Devonport Strikers commitments as well as young all-round option James Simpson and left-arm quick James Beattie.
Given the strong pre-game weather and Saturday forecast, Coyle predicts the return home to the NTCA Ground will be a welcome one for the group as they look to occupy the crease for longer and build partnerships.
"It should be a good contest, they've come off a loss as well," he said.

"I think our bowling game stands up and that's based around really good, disciplined bowing.
"We just need to really try to consolidate our game in this fixture and we have another two-day game after that before we head into T20s."
Despite SHSB stars Alex Doolan and Gabe Bell absent with state duties, the Sharks still have some impressive names in Sean Willis and Hamish Kingston.
