The name was put forward for the reserve formed by 10 and 32 Norfolk St, but the Nomenclature Board confirmed the name was already in use in Latrobe.

Building on the Sheepwash Creek $6.3 million plan, the future plans to close part of Youl Road also seem to be progressing.
As part of the 2018 plan, Youl Road would be closed from Edward Street to the Illawarra Road intersection to allow a new walk/cycle track to link up with existing track at the end of Illawarra Road.

The Department of State Growth own and control the part of the road in question.
However, the council's general manager Des Jennings said the road's ownership would be transferred to the council in future to allow it to progress with its plans.
"The road ownership will be transferred to council in the future, discussion has taken place to return that section of road to flood plain when council takes ownership," he said.
"The proposal is to close the section of Youl Road from Edward Street to the Illawarra Road (Oakmount Street) intersection .
"At the time of council taking ownership of Youl Road, a formal process will occur which will include a report to council and community consultation."
