The club returned to the Tasmania Rugby Union competition in 2019, finishing runners up in the championship division.
Club president Isaac Anderson said the game had about 300 attendees - a solid number for a rugby game in Tasmania.

It was also the first Tasmania Rugby Union grand final to be played at the park since 2006.
"It was very special to do it in front of our home fans and family ... that was amazing," he said.
Anderson said the team will now advocate to be promoted to the league's first-class premiership division.
"I think we've proven that we're, no disrespect to other clubs, probably a step above this competition," he said.
"We'll be in talks to try and get promoted and hopefully next year we'll have a crack at winning the division one premiership to back-up this one."
