Rain decimated two days of Launceston's largest junior tennis tournament but after everything that 2020 has thrown at the sporting community, it wasn't enough to call off the event.
Over 140 shortened matches were crammed into an action-packed Saturday schedule with events ranging from 10-and-under to open taking place, with play coming to a close at 10pm.
Headlining the range of events was the prestigious Pardey Shield, the state's schoolboys and girls trophy with over 100 years of history - being first played in 1918.

Hobart pair Sam Edgar and Alicia Dale added their names to an impressive list before them, which includes the likes of top-350 professional player Harry Bourchier, his mentor Simon Youl and Australian national cricket selector George Bailey.
Edgar inscribed his name on the title by defeating Launceston hope Sam Whitehead, while the unseeded Dale caused a major upset in her semi-final with a 4-1 4-5 13-11 win over top seed Charlotte Ingram.
She wasn't done there, defeating second seed Brooke Miller 4-0 5-4 to hold the shield high as she completed an unbeaten tournament by playing 10 matches for 10 victories including 16-and-under girls singles and open singles and doubles.
Although Whitehead was unable to add his name onto the shield, he received a solid consolation prize by taking out the open singles competition with wins over Jason Fletcher and Edgar.
Other North and North-West players to emerge victorious were Jake Elmer (16-and-under boys singles), Lily Marshall and Britta Russell (12-and-under girls doubles), Ethan Clemons (12-and-under boys doubles) and William Carswell (10-and-under boys singles).
The tournament completed a busy period for players following the Hobart Open UTR event and Tassie Showdown.
