Evandale Rotary have continued their longstanding support to a vital cause, donating $250 to The Examiner's Winter Relief Appeal.

Secretary Arthur Talbot said the club had been making annual donations to the appeal for 40 years since the club's inception in 1980.
He said the money raised was traditionally done at face-to-face meetings, however, due to COVID-19, the money was raised through gold coin donations from members.

The Winter Relief Appeal annually raises money for four Northern Tasmanian-based charities.
This year's goal of $70,000 has already been smashed with about $110,000 already being raised.
