Half of the 14 players who featured in the 2-1 victory over Launceston City are teenagers, including both goalscorers Matt Spanos and Aaron Kidmas.
Keeper Jarrod Hill, defenders Will Humphrey and Jasper King and midfielder Liam Gilmore were all in the same NTJSA rep team as Spanos while Fletcher Fulton is a couple of years younger.
Gaetani said a first win of the season is only the beginning of a long road for his side.
"We want to build on developing our young players and it's not going to be a quick job," he said.
"The challenge now is not to let this be just three points. We're not just here to beat Launceston City, we want to take points off anyone. This is a team that has the ability to be at the very top of the ladder, it's now about consistency."
Olympic will be without one of their most experienced players this week after Argentinean midfielder Luca Vigilante broke his ankle in the derby.

But the coach is confident his young charges can take another step against an Olympia outfit which has surprised many by losing its opening three games.
"We all thought they were going to be one of the teams competing for the title but they have not got a point yet and are a very proud club that won't like that so it's going to be tough.
"They are an experienced side and we're a very young side but Saturday's game will give us confidence we can beat Olympia. But we'll still go in as underdogs.
"Matt Spanos had his best performance for the club at City and held the ball up really well. He puts players under pressure and if he can start adding goals to his game he will be much more valuable.
"Tom Prince has been awesome so far this season and Jasper King was also very good."
Having bagged his first NPL goal after replacing Vigilante at Prospect Park, Kidmas comes into contention for a starting role at Warrior Park.
Fellow sub Jhostan Padron is also set to feature again after the Mexican helped set up the Kidmas winner.
The fixture is Olympia's first home game of the campaign after away-day losses to Clarence (0-1), Glenorchy (1-3) and champions Devonport (2-3) where they twice came from behind.
Pause to replay as City fast forward
Coach Roger Hardwicke said the team watched the game over on video and learned plenty.
"We can see some of the concepts that we're trying to do, such as our ability to switch play and move the ball, so there are positives," he said.
"The big thing for us is giving up soft goals whereas every goal we get we have to really work for. If we can tighten up a bit at the back, we know we've got goals in us."
One flaw highlighted from the review was how much time Riverside centre-back Tom Prince was afforded to play in Matt Spanos for the opening goal.
"You cannot give anyone that amount of time," Hardwicke said. "He had about four or five seconds to pick a pass and no-one picked up the runner either. That comes down to basic communication."
City will get Rob Gerrard back from suspension this week but the injury brackets are coming out in force with question marks over keeper Lachy Clark (quad), defender Lindsay Millington (groin) and midfielder Gedi Krusa (foot).
City travel to an unbeaten Kingborough side containing some familiar faces.
"They've obviously got a lot of confidence with how they've started and I guess we've got nothing to lose. Jez (Kenth) used to coach here and they've got Shane Cartwright playing there as well so I'm sure there'll be plenty of banter."
