The 19-year-old wicketkeeper is taking the next step in her career, packing her bags and relocating to Victoria, living with her grandparents as she looks to refuel her fire.
"From what I've heard, they've got the best Premier League competition in the country so I think going and challenging myself over there and if I can have a good season, I'd be putting my foot in the door either back in Tassie or somewhere else," she said.
"I haven't linked up with any clubs as yet. My Nan and Pop are close to a couple - Prahran or Melbourne - and my manager and some connections have said they are good clubs and have great coaches."

Admitting that her exit interview with coach Salliann Briggs became a blur moments after being delisted several months ago, a catch-up in the weeks following cleared things up for the Riverside, New Town and Greater Northern Raiders star.
"I was a little bit shocked, I didn't really know what to say or do. We caught up a week after that and just sat down and went through the reasons why.
"I got some takeaways from that and some of the points and reasons that Sal gave, I could see reason in."
With only one wicketkeeper, Emily Smith, on Tasmania's contact list, Manix-Geeves' chance to add to her eight 2019 WNCL contests still may arise.
Looking back at her season, which saw her claim the most wicketkeeping dismissals in the competition - 15 - the former Riverside High School and Launceston College student admits her form was up and down.
"I don't think I performed with the bat very well. I didn't feel very good batting wise and I couldn't get any confidence whatsoever throughout the season.
"Keeping wise, it was probably similar, it probably ebbed and flowed a little bit. I had some really good games, like the South Australian game [three stumpings and one catch], that was the way I wanted to keep all the time but then I made a few mistakes that probably cost us majorly at times.
"The mistakes I made, they were the same mistakes, so if anything I take a bit of a positive out of that being the same rather than a lot of little things, so hopefully it will be easier to fix."
