Another 50-run opening stand got the Scorpions off to a strong start but the Tigers pegged them back, taking six wickets for less than 100 to have the home side teetering at 6-141.
With a repeat of Tuesday's Tigers win looking likely, South Australia's Samantha Bates stood up and took control of the contest, smacking 59 off 49 balls in a 93-run partnership with Alex Price (25 not out) to steer her side to 7-242 off their 50 overs.

The Tigers' run chase got off to a steady start with Hollie Armitage dismissed at 1-43 before Nicola Carey and Emma Thompson-Flint were taken care of in consecutive balls by Megan Schutt (4-33) to be sitting at 3-71.
From there, player of the match Corinne Hall (68 off 57) and Meg Phillips (64 off 110) would join for a century stand, swinging the game back on even ground.
Sasha Maloney (30 off 29) and Maisy Gibson (29 not out off 26) came in and upped the tempo, both scoring over a run a ball to ease the pressure before captain Brooke Hepburn finished it with a first-ball four.
