Moving along with online trends, the TCL is set to join the procession, hosting its end-of-season awards with a live stream on the TCL News and Scores Facebook page from 7-8pm on Saturday night.
President Darrell Whyte said all awards and teams of the year will be announced alongside the last six rounds of the Jason Savage medal for premier league's best and fairest.

"We figured that we can't leave it too much longer or people just forget about it," he said.
"Depending on how things go, we'll have a big season launch and even though people will know who has won, we will hand the trophies out at the launch and have that be a more formal occasion."
The league's annual celebrations were originally scheduled for this Saturday night which led to the choosing of the live stream's time slot.
