The sole Tasmanian named in the 25-player squad in January, the Launceston goalkeeper has her eyes firmly set on booking a seat on the plane to Belgium in February next year.
"It feels heaps better," she said.
"Obviously it's still unknown with coronavirus and things like that, but having a date to at least look forward to and to have a venue is really exciting.

"I think Europe is a bit ahead of us with everything and they are starting to settle down now so it will be interesting to see what happens."
While COVID-19 has disrupted a planned training and selection camp, the 22-year-old is still remaining positive about her potential selection, which pits her against two other goalkeepers.
"No high-performance players are allowed to travel so we've been given a revised program to do at home with minimal equipment as we can't access gyms.
"It's a little bit different but we are all well supported, everyone's messaging each other to make sure things get done but we are unsure when selection will happen now."
Admitting she doesn't know too much about the European country, Belgium's sight-seeing is one of the last things on the former Riverside High School student's mind.
"Obviously we will be there primarily for the World Cup but to be in a different country is an awesome experience."
If selected, it will be Pearson's first time at World Cup level, but she is no stranger to the side after travelling to Austria last year.
The team finished sixth at the 2018 tournament and are gunning for a top-four spot in February.
