The Westbury St Patrick's Festival was due to return on Saturday for a daylong celebration of all things Celtic and Irish, however the event has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Council's community development Manager Patrick Gambles said the festival and associated events were cancelled due to coronavirus.
"This action is taken in line with government direction and from the festival's duty of care to audience, performers, stall holders and volunteer helpers," he said.
