Any hope of finishing the season with a win was extinguished by a boisterous Simon Milenko century as the Greater Northern Raiders fell to a six-wicket loss at South Hobart-Sandy Bay.

The visitors made early inroads in the first session with Ollie Wood (1-51 off 23) snaring the prized scalp of Sean Willis and Ben Spinks (1-60) getting Caleb Oakes to nick off for 24.
At 4-77 Andy Gower's Raiders appeared to have the upper hand but Tasmanian fringe all-rounder Milenko had other ideas.
Complementing a patient 77 not out from number three Caedence Kuepper, Milenko lived up to his big-hitting reputation with a run-a-ball 100 that featured four sixes - including consecutive blows off Spinks - and 12 fours.
The Sharks surpassed their target of 221 in the 73rd over and walked off three overs later as Milenko reached three figures.
"We struggled today," Gower said.
"Our first session was really strong, we took some early poles and had them four down and the second session just petered out - we dropped a few catches and just went a bit quiet.
"Milenko and Caedence Kuepper had a nice little partnership going and we weren't able to break that.
"It was a pretty flat wicket and they toiled pretty hard - Woody and Spencer Hayes were outstanding with their lines and lengths and Eli Sheean bowled really well at his first opportunity at this level.
"As a bowling group with Jono [Jones] coming in for his first game, the guys toiled really hard we just didn't have a lot of luck and at times the fielding did let us down."

The result saw the Raiders finish their sophomore season bottom of the ladder with just two wins, but Gower sees plenty of hope on the horizon.
Captain Miles Barnard, Westbury young gun Jake Williams and stubborn opener Brodie Hayes compiled 1715 runs between them to shape an imposing top-four while Wood finished as the side's most prolific bowler with 18 wickets.
"There's lots of positives for me this year - we've got a situation where we've got three guys in the top 15 for runs scored this year so that's really outstanding for our program," Gower said.
"I think what we need is we've got to find an out-and-out quick that can deliver us 25-30 wickets.
"That's where the gaps are and we'll identify that over the next few weeks and see if there's a target out there we can bring into the program.
"We would like an ex-first class player or someone that's at the end of their Tassie contract that just wants to have some games with us, so we'll work together as a group to see if we can identify anyone that's not getting opportunities in other states or other leagues."
