It seems people can't get enough of crumbed cuisine, with The Schnitzel Store celebrating a successful first year in business this week.
Schnitzel Store owner Karen Stevenson said it had been a great first year for the Invermay Road-based business.
"It feels pretty good, we're doing well with lots of customers and regulars," Ms Stevenson said.
"We definitely have a lot more customers than when we first opened and we've had good feedback so it's all good."
Since opening in January 2019, the store has expanded its patio and added alcohol to the mix, something Ms Stevenson said has been well received.
"We got lots of positive feedback about that [liquor license]," she said.
"People are happy they can have a beer along with their schnitzel."

As well as alcohol, the business has expanded its menu to include 'supersized' schnitzel items as well as cold schnitzel wraps on weekdays.
"Our supersized schnittys are quite a large plate-sized schnitzel," Ms Stevenson said.
According to Ms Stevenson, the business' proximity to UTAS Stadium has been a asset to the business during sporting matches.
"We've been getting very busy during football and cricket days which is great to see," Ms Stevenson said.
While she said she hasn't got anything major planned for the restaurant in 2020 yet, Ms Stevenson is keen to see what the year will bring for the business.
"Thanks to our loyal customers for supporting us, it's been great," she said.
