Last season's runners-up have turned up for just the Redlegs' second year in the midweek T20 competition and pulled off an emphatic 10-wicket victory against the newly-created Hadspen Red.
The Chieftains, who have split their players equally into two sides, made a solid 5-87 off the back of Kate Dobber (18 retired) and captain Mel Denman (16).
Redlegs stars Natalie Curbishley (2-10) and Cassie Walker (2-8) kept their side in the box seat.
Curbishley then launched Bracknell to victory in just 10 overs with 31 off 25 balls.
Hadspen Red went on to have a bit more luck than the club counterparts.
That luck came in the form of 46 sundries, including 32 wides for a six-wicket win over ACL.
Sara Wilkin (16) and Chloe Mason (13) hung on to aid the Chieftains, while Caitlin Vandermeer did well to pick up 2-6 off 19 deliveries.

That was superseded from Dimity Newson's fine three-over spell of 3-5 that kept the Bluebacks to just 4-90.
Only Vandermeer with 22 off 25 balls gave ACL a sniff.
Evandale also took away an exciting four-wicket win against Trevallyn.
Kellie Scott hit six fours for 27 off 21 balls to get Trevallyn up to 102.
Nicole Dusautoy (2-2), Laura Sykes (2-6) and Tayla Buchanan (2-13) ensured the Eagles bowled their rivals out in 17 overs.
Evandale just passed the target with 12 balls left and four wickets in hand, but Dusautoy starred with 47 off 33 balls and Kaye Buchanan helped with 33 off 28 balls.
Longford won a forfeit over Bishopsbourne Panthers.
