Mr Mugnaioni has worked as the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland chief strategy officer for the past 13 years, RACT president Kathryn Westwood said.
"Mark has played a critical lead role in RACQ's significant and successful transformational change, enhancing their members' experiences and ensuring the club's long-term sustainability," Ms Westwood said.
"Mark will bring new leadership and perspective to the group chief executive role as we continue to respond to rapidly changing mobility and business environments, as well as meeting the evolving expectations of our more than 190,000 members and customers."
