At three Bureau of Meteorology measuring points over 100 mm fell: at Iris River, Pine Tree Rivulet, and Fisher River.
However, with gale force wind warnings in place, it was still a good day to stay inside.
Between 10 to 25 mm of rain fell throughout most of the Northern region. Exceptions were Deloraine, with 28 mm, Quamby Bluff, with 52 mm, Great Lake, with 72 mm - and snow, Nunamara and surrounds, with 38 mm, and Glengarry, with 38 mm.
There are intermittent showers, cloudy days and frosts predicted for the rest of the week in Northern Tasmania.
As of Sunday evening, all Tasmanian rivers were at below flood level, but there is still a strong wind warning in place for Monday on the East Coast, East of Flinders, the Central North Coast, and in the west.
As of Sunday morning, the Liffey River was running at 2.03 metres at the West Channel.
