Some have already resigned and others have called for a spill in the leadership of the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Education Union.
A teacher at Parklands High School said they and a "significant percentage" of others had resigned at their school over the union's backtracking.
"A majority of members have been let down by the education union by not being given the chance to vote on the agreement," the teacher, who did not wish to be named, said.
"As a result, a significant percentage of members (at my school) have resigned."
It is believed as many as 20 AEU members statewide have resigned.
AEU Tasmanian president Helen Richardson acknowledged concerns raised by Parklands High teachers.
"We've had a number of resignations at the school and acknowledge that some are frustrated at the process," she said.
"We have listened to feedback and are acting on concerns and hope to have those members back onboard as we develop a unifying counter offer to put to the Government as soon as possible."
Correspondence obtained show teachers at Ulverstone Secondary College have lost confidence in the AEU leadership.
A motion was supported in a secret ballot 32 votes to three that: "We the Ulverstone Secondary College have lost confidence in the executive of the AEU Tasmanian branch and call for a leadership spill over the handling of the current wage negotiations."
Launceston College teachers say they are "outraged that their right to vote on the previous offer was withdrawn" after a majority of teachers supported it.
"A large number of members at LC are threatening to resign their AEU membership as a result," they said.
The Launceston College teachers voted 21 to one that " as a member-led union, all future offers should be put to members to vote on, and the decisions made by the majority of members should be binding."
They sent it to the AEU state council.
