It's the event that goes ahead in rain, hail or shine - but it's most likely rain you'll find at Agfest.

Tasmania's premier agricultural festival, the three-day event is a testament to the state's rural lifeblood.
Agriculture is the backbone of Tasmania's economy - there is no doubt that it underpins some of the other high-flying industries, such as tourism.
Farmers are the hardest working members of our community and they have come up against more adversity than most.
They put the food we eat on our tables and wrestle with everything Mother Nature has to hurl at them to ensure we have a steady stream of food to supply the market.
In addition, they have most recently been under somewhat of an affront by vegan activists who largely disagree with the morality of the meat industry.
With animals let loose and protesters picketing outside farm gates, the business of food production has become even harder work.
While instances of this have not been reported in Tasmania, the hard-working farmers still have every reason to celebrate.
Over the next three days, Tasmania's farmers will let their hair down and celebrate everything that is great about agriculture in this state.
Agfest will become a thriving hub at Carrick, and the site will be transformed to showcase the best of life on the farm - as well as opportunities to network with other industry professionals.
Anyone who has been to Agfest can be a testament to the electric atmosphere - and it's mostly thanks to the enthusiasm of the team at Rural Youth, who curate and coordinate every aspect of the multi-day festival.
The young committee at Rural Youth spent a whole year planning each Agfest event and there is a constant stream of fresh faces among those in leadership roles on the committee.
The committee put in some hard yards (pun intended) to make sure the event is run as smoothly as possible.
It gives you hope the agriculture industry in Tasmania is in good hands.
