Enterprising Aardvark is now in its third year of operation, with founders Lisa and Rachel holding annual fundraisers to help keep the lights on at the not-for-profit.
"We don't get any government or regular funding of any kind, so we rely on donations and fundraising events and support from the community," Rachel said.
Lisa said the art community had been amazingly generous.
"We just hope people come down and support their generosity as well."
Lisa and Rachel started the service after noticing there was a gap in what was available to the community.
"We decided it would be useful to support people, particularly people who have more complex reactions to trauma - they might've had long-term trauma from a young age and been re-traumatised over the years," Lisa said.
The event is being held during International Sexual Assault Awareness month.
- Fundraiser begins at 6pm at 160 Cimitiere St, Launceston.
