The government has announced four ‘drop-in’ sessions for people to attend and consult the government on the review.
The sessions will be held across the state, giving the public a chance to have their views heard on the Local Government Act with the team conducting the review.
Session locations and times:
- Gnomon Pavilion, Ulverstone – February 13
- Tamar Function Centre, Riverside – February 14
- Diamond Island Resort, Bicheno – February 19
- RACV/RACT Hotel, Hobart February 20
All sessions will be held between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
The review of the Local Government Act is slated to be complete by the end of 2020 before the next local government elections.
