Tasmania’s premier agricultural festival sponsors one charity to be its partner, with proceeds from the event donated to the chosen charity.
The applications are open for not-for-profit organisations and the winning charity will get a free site at the 2019 Agfest field daya, in May. Agfest donate 50c from every transaction made through our event ATMs to the charity partner.
Agfest chairman Owen Woolley said the Agfest committee has donated about $11,000 through its charity partnerships over the past five years.
“The committee preference applications that benefit local communities within Tasmania and build the capacity of youth,” Mr Woolley said.
All applications are submitted directly online via www.agfest.com.au
The closing date for all applications is December 1.
Agfest 2019 will be held on May 2-4 at Quercus Park, Oaks Road, Carrick.
