By the time Quercus Park was closed for business on Saturday afternoon, 29,799 people had trodden the slightly muddy streets.
This figure brought the 2018 patron total to 65,794, which is up 3007 on the 2017 numbers, Agfest chairman Owen Woolley said.
“I can’t describe how happy I am with how the last few days have gone,” Mr Woolley said.

Good weather and happy crowds contributed to the event’s success.
“The weather was kind to us. In the lead up the forecast didn’t look good,” he said.
“All the feedback has been positive. When I’ve spoken to people they praised us and they’re very happy. It’s been very good.
“Exhibitors said it’s been very profitable,” he said.
The first-time chairman has ordered a rest after the Agfest clear up during the next month.
“I’m looking forward to a good sleep,” Mr Woolley said.
“The bulk of the clean up will be done over the next three or four days and within a month [Quercus Park] will be back to normal. And after 11 months we’ll do it all again,” he said.
Agfest committee members asked motorists for patience while dealing with the increased numbers of cars on the road throughout Saturday, media and promotions manager Breeanna House said.
“Traffic continues to enter the Agfest site and is being managed by the Agfest traffic management team, Tasmania Police and the SES,” Ms House said on Saturday afternoon.
“We also ask that people are patient and respectful of others,” she said.
