Update for growers within Tasmanian fruit fly control zones
Changes have been made to fruit fly control zones in the state’s North and North-West.

From October 1, home grown produce from inside the control zone can be moved outside of the property it was grown in to be sold or given away. However, this produce still can not leave the control area.
Double bagging is also no longer required when disposing of produce.
