The 2018-19 Cricket North season will get under way on October 13 after fixtures were released earlier this week.
Two-time reigning premier South Launceston will start the year with a bye, with Riverside to host Mowbray and last year's preliminary finalists Westbury and Launceston to meet at the NTCA No.1.
South Launceston and Westbury will have to wait until round six - a month into the season - to lock horns after playing off in the 2017-18 final.
The competition’s two-day fixtures will begin on January 5 after a three-week Christmas break, while the final has again been locked in for the penultimate weekend of March.
Meanwhile, perennial champion South Launceston will kick off another title defence when the women’s competition begins on October 21.
The Knights will host Mowbray in the opening round while Launceston will meet Riverside.
The Greater Northern Raiders’ maiden appearance in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League will be a trip to Kingborough on October 6, while the TCL roster for this season is yet to be unveiled.
