The 69-year-old has occupied a variety of roles in his 25-year association with the team, the latest of which is announcer.
Having been a volunteer at the club when they last won a title in 1995, he believed the current squad could reach the same level.

“They are very similar [to the championship team],” he said.
“They run the ball quickly and move up and down the court well.
“They’re also physically tough in the sense they can run a whole game.
“In the years where the Tornadoes dropped off a bit, they had lost a bit of their physical ability, but this side has got it all back.”

Mr Fellows began as crowd control for the club, before moving on to video taping the games for the coach.
He also enjoyed a brief stint as the team’s fitness advisor.
The long-time volunteer said a win for the club against Bendigo would have a lasting impact on basketball at all levels in the region.
“I think it’s a great thing for junior basketball – whether it be male or female – to have a representative side doing well at national level, despite working on a lesser budget than some of their competition,” he said.
“Success breeds success.”
