The Eskleigh Foundation-hosted ceremony on Friday saw Quinn take home the Tas Art Award for his painting of Cataract Gorge.
Quinn’s painting – titled Cataract Gorge 2 – was acquired by the Eskleigh Foundation for its permanent collection.
Other prize winners on the evening included Jonathan Bowden for the Fresh Freight Art Award, Keith Lane for the Capital Chemist Award, Chris Arnol for the Launceston Art Society Award and Gerry Jensen for the Launceston Art Centre Award.
Works entered for the art prize will be exhibited at Eskleigh until Sunday, May 27.
The exhibition will be open daily from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
