Betty the Asbestos Diseases Research Institute House is a travelling education centre that teaches people about where to locate asbestos in any home that has been built or renovated before 1987.
The part-van, part-model home is operated by Geoff and Karen Wicks, and has travelled to towns and cities all over Australia.
Betty will be at Exeter Post Office on Tuesday, October 31, between 1.30 and 3.30pm.
It will also be at the George Town former-Chickenfeed store on Macquarie Street on Monday, November 6, between 10 and 11.30am.
The van is a partnership between ADRI and Asbestos Education Committee.
