UPDATE: A woman and a man have both been taken to hospital following a crash on Tuesday morning in Westmere. The woman in her 70s was airlifted to Melbourne while a man in his 50s was transported to Ballarat by road ambulance in a stable condition. EARLIER: An air ambulance has been dispatched to assist an elderly woman involved in a crash on Tuesday morning. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Doerys Road and the Glenelg Highway in Westmere around 10.40am to reports a car had collided with a tree. An ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed an air ambulance had been dispatched to assist the woman, who is believed to be in her 70s. The woman's condition remains unclear. More to come.
