The Rotary Employment Day will be held on September 26 from 9.15am to 2.30pm at Launceston’s Hotel Grand Chancellor.
It aims to provide employers who recruit young people, the opportunity to interview for vacancies.
Students in years 11 and 12 at schools across Tasmania’s North and North East will have access to a range of employers at the career day.
While hundreds of school students are expected to attend, organiser Catherine Hughes said the event would benefit from more employers getting involved.
Dr Hughes said employers could have a stall and hold interviews for their position on the day.
“We would be very appreciative of hearing from them so we can give more people a chance to get a job,” she said.
