A large crowd kept auctioneers busy throughout the day as they worked through more than 1200 lots, comprised primarily of antiques and furniture.
Auctioneer Andrew Snooks said two of the big-ticket items were a 1951 Morris Minor car and a 1967 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle.
The Morris Minor went for $5250, while the motorcycle fetched just over $7000.
‘‘You don’t get a Morris Minor coming through every day, and these old Triumph motorbikes are becoming very sought after,’’ Mr Snooks said.
‘‘(The car) had been restored at some stage, but people were quite amazed at what condition it was in.’’
Mr Snooks said the prices had been slightly higher than auctioneers’ expectations.
Armitage Auctions will hold a special petrol memorabilia auction on February 6.
