After achieving her aim in time for this year's International Natural Bodybuilding Association competition, the Launceston 43-year-old will represent the nation at the Natural Olympia in San Diego next month.
The competition is the largest drug-tested event in the world.
``I love the aesthetic of it, the look of it,'' Freeman said.
``It's strong women but they haven't lost their femininity.''
Freeman said competing, something she has done on and off since 1997, was physically and mentally draining.
``You have to train when you don't want to train, diet when you don't want to diet,'' she said.
Breakfast is egg whites, rolled oats and blueberries followed by a day of vegetables and chicken. Training is done under the guidance of husband Damien six days a week at Launceston's Health and Fitness World.
She said Mr Freeman and their daughter Jade were incredibly supportive.
``There is an element of obsession to achieve,'' she said.
``There are always obstacles so you need to be flexible and have a really good support network.''
Mrs Freeman will compete on November 8 and 9 with about 1000 athletes. She is the only Tasmanian in the international competition.
