The Beginning and End of Everything
THERE has always been so much self-doubt in the songwriting of Josh Pyke.
That is something that is well and truly apparent in his fourth studio album, The Beginning and The End of Everything.
Love, both it being lost and found, is high on the agenda, as well as just the feeling of being accepted, is all over this offering.
Despite this aspect from a sound point of view, it is quite vibrant.
There are a lot more elements in play than on his previous album, Only Sparrows, which strengthens his sound.
The title track, Haunt You Love, Warm in Winter and Feet of Clay are the highlights of this album.
If you are a fan of his acoustic- indie sound, you will love this.
