The Vox Harmony City of Launceston Choir has donated $2000 to ?The Examiner's? Empty Stocking Appeal.
Choir musical director Denise Sam said the funds were raised from a recent concert, which was a huge success.
More than $1600 was raised from the 350-odd attendees, with the choir making up the difference.
``It was a really great night - we also performed with the Greater Launceston Youth Choir and the Scotch Oakburn College Choir,'' Ms Sam said.
The appeal will run until December 20, with all proceeds going to Launceston charities.
Donations can be made at ?The Examiner's? Launceston and Devonport offices or at collection tins in businesses across the region.
