Crowded House once mused that "everywhere you go you'll always take the weather with you" but a series of Cricket North sides will be hoping that is not the case this weekend.

The coastal clashes of the Greater Northern Cup continue as Westbury complete their stint of three away games against Burnie.
After being washed out last round, the Shamrocks are eager to finish the three-match run on a high note having targeted an undefeated ledger in this period of the season.
On form, Burnie are one of the better performed coastal sides, something the Shamrocks are well aware of heading into the fixture.
"They're quite strong, we know we're going to have to play some good cricket to get over the top of them, they're a good fielding side as well so all across the board they're pretty solid," captain Daniel Murfet said.
"We really put a bit of emphasis on these three coast games so if we're able to come away with the win here, it'll give us a really good sense [where they're at]."
The Shamrocks are likely to be unchanged this weekend from their previous side.
South Launceston were also knocked around by the weather which saw their game abandoned despite a Nathan Philip century which resurrected their innings.

Sheffield's journey to NTCA No.2 marks the first time the Knights will have home ground advantage over the Mountaineers since 2019.
"Notoriously Sheffield has a bit of low, crumbly deck that's a bit slower and doesn't really favour us," he said.
"I think NTCA No.2 is a bit of a faster wicket so we prefer to play on those types ... fast wickets and fast outfields we enjoy playing on those."
The Knights are likely to enter the weekend's fixture unchanged.
All eyes will be on Devonport's captain Tyler Dell as he aims to notch three centuries on the trot when Mowbray travel to the Orions.
Dell has been peerless in the past two fixtures, scoring 114* and 112 to be the leading run-scorer in the Greater Northern Cup and a significant problem for the Eagles.
"I'd imagine he'd be a key wicket for them but they've been a pretty good team down there for a long period of time," captain Luke Scott said.
However, the Eagles are focused on partnerships after finding themselves in a batting mire against Latrobe.
"We want long partnerships and we're happy to work the ball around in the middle to make sure we get set batters and partnerships being ticked off, that's been the challenge," Scott said.
The Eagles are set to field the same side from last weekend's fixture.
After weeks of chasing the perfect game, Riverside may have unlocked the secret against Wynyard after a dominant performance with bat and ball.
"Our next challenge is to be able to maintain that through the next little period, especially November and December when it gets busy with T20 action so we need to be continuing our form in all formats," coach Lyndon Stubbs said.

The Blues will be part of a big occasion at Ulverstone as the Black Caps celebrate Josh Walmsley's 250th club game this weekend.
"It's a pretty big milestone in club cricket and he'll be keen to perform and hopefully we get him cheaply," Stubbs said.
Launceston are eager to keep the good times going when they travel up to Latrobe in the final clash of the round after both sides enjoyed victorious results last weekend.
"Latrobe are always competitive and being on their home deck, they're always a challenge but we're up for the fight and think we're travelling quite well," Launceston coach Andy Gower said.
"I think the team is just starting to tick along nicely and everyone's starting to get to know everyone's personalities and gel as a group."
