Nyanda (1410) finished 102 points clear of Warialda (1308) as Karalta (1295) and Impara (1235) rounded out the rear.
Health and physical education teacher Daniel Murfet spoke highly of the year's carnival.
"The carnival was a great day which included a lot of participation and effort throughout the various events," he said.
"The school's ground staff were magnificent in preparing our grounds for the carnival. It was great to see so many of our students having fun, with a great attitude and pushing themselves to do their best."
Grade seven events saw three records broken, with Harry Marston and Tyane Thomas leading the way.
Marston broke the triple jump record as Thomas did the same in the high jump, besting the effort of his brother, AFL player Tarryn Thomas, before the two were part of the 4x100 relay record time of 56.34.
