Launceston United's Chris Pickering in pursuit of Riverside Olympic's Joe Evans.
Northern Rangers' Stephen Pearce has been named women's coach of the year at the annual Northern Championship awards.
In his first year at the helm, Pearce guided Rangers to a second-placed finish behind Ulverstone.
North-West clubs dominated the awards having won all three open-age competitions through Somerset (men), Ulverstone (women) and Devonport (reserves).
Somerset's Beau Blizzard and Lucy Reimer, of Ulverstone, claimed the NC best and fairest awards while Launceston United's Chris Pickering added the NC1 award to his golden boot.
