Northern Hawks captain Gemma Poke and Cavalier vice-captain Estelle Margetts took time out of the grand final lead-up to reflect on ahead of father's day.
"I love my dad, he's my favourite person in the world," Poke said.
"He's never never been able to get to many netball games because he's a dairy farmer on the far North West so when he does come up it means a lot."
Cavaliers vice-captain Estelle Margetts spoke fondly on her "die-hard" dad.
"My dad is a die-hard netball dad, he's known around the netball community as Big Col," she said.
"He's been to every single one of my netball nationals, he's been to every single tournament, he's been to every single grand final.
"He's really been an inspiration for me in my netball career and without the countless hours of him driving me ... I wouldn't be here without him."
Poke was thankful for her dad's help ahead of leading the Hawks into another grand final this weekend.
"He's always been super supportive and has always driven me up and down the coast whenever I needed it," she said.
"Super thankful for my dad."
Margetts hopes Big Col will be able to witness the Cavs taste premiership success.
"He and my mum will both be there, he'll be cheering and jumping up and down on the sideline as loud as he can.
"Hopefully, on Sunday, we'll be able to give him the father's day present of having a medal after the game."
