Deputy Director of Public Health Dr Julie Graham said the decision follows news of no new cases being identified in the NT over the weekend.
"Public Health will rescind the stay-at-home direction for all persons who arrived in Tasmania before 4pm on 16 August and were in the municipalities of Darwin, Palmerston and Katherine on or since 11pm on 12 August 2021," she said.
"They will be able to resume their normal movements and activities from tomorrow [Monday, August 23].
Travellers who have only spent time in low-risk areas in the 14 days prior to arrival in Tasmania are not required to quarantine upon arrival.
