Finishing top of the ladder, Lilydale coach Colin Lockhart said the week off helped the players freshen up.
"We've trained quite hard to get the game sort of stuff into our legs and we're looking forward to the clash with OLs," Lockhart said.
The two teams last met in Round 8, with Lilydale claiming a comfortable win over OLs 12.10 (82) to 4.5 (29).
"We beat them quite easily [last time] but we aren't getting ahead of ourselves," Lockhart said.
"We will hopefully be able to bring the pressure and put a lot of pressure on their ball users."
There are no changes to Lilydale's line-up, so Lockhart expects his team to be "fit and firing".
OLs coach Laine Cleaver isn't bothered by the side's underdog status for the second weekend in a row.
"We went into last week's game as massive underdogs as well," he said.
"Finals can be a different kind of game at times with more on the line."
Luke Johnston will return to the line-up this weekend after missing the game against Old Scotch due to hamstring tightness and Patrick Kearney is back after sitting out for the past six weeks due to injury.
Old Scotch lost to East Coast Swans 7.8 (50) to 12.6 (78) in Round 8, but Thistles coach Brayley Coombes said his team would be very different to the side that played that game.
"Last time we played them we didn't have our strongest side," he said.
"But they are a very good football side."
Coombes said it was disappointing to lose last weekend, but OLs played a terrific brand of finals footy.
"Our guys learnt from Sunday that finals football is definitely a different kettle of fish," he said.
"I'm hoping it's the loss we needed to galvanise from there."

Coombes is hopeful his strongest side will available for this weekend's elimination final.
"East Coast is a really good outfit and it's going to be a cracking game of footy with high stakes," he said.
East Coast coach Gene Savage said it's do or die for both teams, so it will be pretty exciting football.
"We will go in with a bit of confidence and hopefully we can replicate the form we showed the last time we played them," Savage said.
"We obviously learned some things when we played them last and they've been on a considerable form streak, which has been quite impressive.
"We won't be taking them lightly that's for sure."
East Coast's line-up will be relatively unchanged.
"A little bit of continuity in the line-up is good at this time of the year," Savage said.
