Both Northern sides have been untouchable this season, other than by each other.
Hawks won two of their three meetings - the latest by just three points last week - with the third ending in a draw as both sides won every other match.
They will meet at the Silverdome next weekend with the winner heading straight into the grand final, also destined to be staged at the same venue.
The loser will play the winner of the third-versus-fourth clas between Cripps and Arrows.
Cavs coach Dannie Carstens said the side learned much from a 76-51 defeat of Kingston.
A tight first quarter saw Cavs in front by two goals before the lead stretched out to 19 at the final break as goal shooter Hayley McDougall began to dominate.
The momentum continued in the last term as the margin blew out to 25.
"It was such a good weekend ahead of the final to rectify a few things that weren't working and also trial a few things," Carstens said.
"We will have a recovery session on Monday and a review to see what we did well in the Hawks game ahead of training on Wednesday.
"We had great performances from Zoe Claridge at goal attack who is back from six weeks off with a shoulder injury, Estelle Margetts at both ends of the court, Hannah Lenthall did a great job in defence and Hayley MacDougall has been putting in a bucket-load of goals."
Huge opening and closing quarters set Northern Hawks up for a comfortable 83-38 defeat of Arrows.
Centre-court dominance from Lydia Coote and Issy Maskell enabled excellent ball placement from Steph Walker to establish a 22-6 quarter-time lead.
The defensive pressure of Gemma Poke combined with consistent shooting of Ash Mawer maintained the momentum before a 26-6 final term delivered the one-sided scoreline.
In the 19s, Cavs beat Kingston 48-37 and Hawks beat Arrows 38-35.
