The Marians have taken the win over the Dragons in the past two grand finals but the last time they met, a 1-1 draw ensued.
Despite being one of three sides sitting on eight wins, West has the league's superior win-loss record, boasting only one loss for the season, while South Launceston and Marians have faltered twice.
South Launceston gets its chance to bounce back from last week's shock loss against traditional Northern rivals Queechy.
The Suns tasted only their second defeat of the season at the hands of South Burnie, which knocked Queechy out of fourth place, so both sides have plenty to play for.
The last time they met, the pair had a 2-2 draw but South won their first meeting 3-1.
South Burnie could extend its new-found gap over Queechy, taking on the winless Devonport at Meercroft Park.
The home side has had tight showings against the Hawks so far this year, going down 3-0 and 1-0, with getting on the scoreboard the next step to potentially adding to its one ladder point.
After being leapfrogged by Smithton last week, Launceston City has a chance to gain direct revenge over the Saints.
But the Tigers will have to travel the competition's longest route to Smithton to do so in an attempt to replicate their 4-1 win.
Since then, both sides have only picked up wins against Devonport.

While its women's side will be hitting the Bass Highway, Launceston City stays home to host the competition's biggest test Burnie Baptist.
Eyeing off a perfect season, the boys in blue have the last-round bye, with the Tigers and City Marians in their way before facing off against South Launceston.
Launceston City will be out to change that narrative, having lost to Baptist 4-0 back in round six.
That afternoon, St Leonards also plays host to South Launceston and Queechy.
Sitting two wins behind Launceston City's fourth place, an upset win could boost Queechy's finals hopes with time running out to make the final move.
But South is never an easy team to topple, only letting 12 goals through its defences this season to boast the competition's biggest goal difference (74).
The league's third-placed side, South Burnie, will look to go into the bye on a high, facing Devonport away from home.
The Hawks face challenging sides Queechy and Launceston City when they return, making Saturday's game even more important, especially after last week's 7-1 loss to South Launceston.
Devonport has picked up two wins in its past four games but the Hawks pose a harsher threat.
After picking up its fourth point of the season last week, West Devonport will be looking to repeat its breakthrough win against City Marians.
The win was the Dragons' first in 1029 days, with both sides having only won the one match this season.
