After a barren 2020 for national competitions, they look set to return in full force with under-age events in netball and football set for the holidays.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT
FOOTBALL
Twenty-four of the state's best junior footballers will travel to the Gold Coast from July 5-9, with 11 clubs represented across Tasmania.
From those, three Northern clubs - Launceston, North Launceston and South Launceston - feature, with nine players named in the best 24.
Launceston's Josh Gillow, Liam Howard, Liam Jones, Khai Lunson, Colby McKercher and Arie Schoenmaker will be joined by Northern Bombers Connor Leeflang and Ryley Sanders, while South Launceston young gun Thomas Beaumont also earned selection.
North Launceston's Oscar Van Dam was named as an emergency for the side.
Under-17 footy squad

NETBALL
The state's best netballers won't have to travel as far for their Tasmanian representation, with Hobart hosting the under-17 and under-19 carnivals from July 6-11.
The elder side sees the Cavaliers represented by three players: Hannah Lenthall, Hayley McDougall and Hayley Older, while Candice Archer is the sole Northern Hawk.
Selection for the under-17 side was dominated by Cripps, Devon, Cavaliers and Arrows, with Hannah Crawford, Esther Kidmas, Ellie Marshall and Olive Morris selected from the Northern outfit, who sit atop the Tasmanian Netball League under-age competition.
Under-19 squad
Candice Archer, Grace Close, Jess Earney, Macy Goninon, Maddi Hay, Hannah Lenthall, Hayley McDougall, Hannah Navickas, Hayley Older, Grace Pullen, Hannah Vinen, Charlie Wheller.
