South Launceston stormed home to an 8-2 win over Queechy in the men's competition.
A hat-trick to Kurt Budgeon and doubles to Stuart Withington and Al McBain came off some excellent forward drive by Sam Elliston-Buckley. Finn Bailey and Evan Lawrence were judged the best for Queechy, with Jakeb Morris and Justin Ockerby scoring a goal apiece.
West Devonport picked up a historic win, accounting for City Marians 2-1.
Noah Purton's double saw the Dragons take home the points for the first time in 2021, while Luc Redman, Mitch Saunders and Hayden Davey were excellent in defence. Craig McCarthy scored Marians' consolation goal while Ian Gates was solid through their midfield.
Burnie Baptist maintained their unbeaten run with a 4-0 defeat of Launceston City. A hat-trick to Khan Riley and single to Keenan Johnson sealed the deal for the ladder leaders, while Paul Badcock helped ensure the clean sheet. Callum Emms and Oli Stebbings were valiant in defeat for City, while Jayden Pearson continued his superb form in goal.
South Burnie pulled away to a 4-0 win over Devonport with four separate goalscorers. The Hawks' Brent Jago was skilful through the midfield, also picking up a goal, while Tom Trevarthan worked hard in their forward half. Devonport's Mick Williams and Daniel Ford combined well to limit the scoreboard damage, and were rewarded with some strong attacking play.
The 2020 women's grand final replay was incredibly tight, with West Devonport and City Marians sharing the points in a 1-1 draw.
West's Danielle Emmett was best on ground with her defensive showing, with Caitlin French also picking up umpire votes as well as their goal. Youngsters Lucy Vandenberg and Zayna Jackson worked hard in Marians attack, but weren't able to add to Petrina Birtwhistle's solitary goal.
South Burnie moved into the top four with a 1-0 win over Devonport. Scorer Ella Scolyer was well supported by Kimberley Skene and Meah Leary. Devonport's Kaylah Rataj and Narelle Genge worked tirelessly.
South Launceston solidified their hold on the top of the ladder with a 3-1 victory over Queechy.
Alice Hendry opened the scoring for the Suns but Queechy levelled with an excellent tomahawk from Izzie McRobbie. Kira Trethewie netted a short corner conversion to pull the Suns ahead, and Hannah Connolly put the result beyond doubt.
Queechy's Olivia Jones and Alexandra Roberston set up plenty of attacking opportunities for their speedy forwards, but Suns' Kiah Williams was best on ground.
