Set up by a four-to-one victory in the foursomes, captain Amanda Smith and Alex Hansen along with Sharon Crowden and Pip Leedham had big wins.
The singles were won by North, six games to four with Smith and Jorjah Bailey having big victories.
Northern women's pennant is almost complete with divisions one and two settled.
Prospect Vale were victorious in division one while Launceston won division two. Three teams were separated by two games, Launceston winning 16 games, Prospect Vale 15 and Riverside 14.
Division three is due to be completed on Thursday when unbeaten Riverside travel to Bicheno to play St Helens on the neutral course.
This match is named after the late Mrs B (Consie) Pearce, a great administrator and golfer who donated the handicap pennant trophy. Consie passed away in 1996 and never did present "her" shield. Sadly, her husband, Brian, died earlier this month.
State pennant finals for women's divisions 1, 2, 3 and 4 are scheduled to be played at Riverside on Sunday-Monday, May 30-31.
Should North meet North-West in any of these finals, the teams will play for the Elphinstone, Watterson and Conroy shields.
Northern Men's pennant continues after a break for intrastate events and Mother's day.
In division one, Riverside seem to be on their merry way at home while Mowbray will look to dent Launceston's chances.
In division two, both Launceston A and B face danger games away from home. Division 4 sees ladder leader Launceston at home to nearest danger Riverside. A close match is expected for the title.
Similarly, in division five, Launceston is a breath in front of Prospect Vale and has a home game to finish off their season.
Division six sees Launceston as pennant winners in front of Mowbray, Greens Beach and Quamby. Scottsdale have won the division seven pennant in front of Tam O Shanter, George Town and Mowbray. Men's pennant state finals are at Tasmania Golf Club on May 29-30.
Taxi golf continues with a game scheduled for Mowbray on Sunday, May 16.
