The Cavs served an uppercut from the start in the centre featuring Zoe Claridge and Piper Sanders, who fed the ball through to shooter Hayley McDougall with ease.
"Particularly after the disappointment of last week, the girls were really keen to make a bit of amends," Cavs coach Dannie Carstens said.

The side's staunch defense featuring Bec Hyland, Hannah Lenthall and Estelle Margetts kept a lid on Flames' entries.
"Defensively - it was a highlight, it was amazing with good one-on-one pressure which created opportunities and rectified the disappointment from last week."
Both these factors allowed the Cavs to jump out to a 20-point lead at halftime, from there they were able to keep piling on the points en route to the win.
The Hawks had their tightest half of the season against Arrows, but the former pull away in the second half to win 72-48.
Arrows went stride-for-stride in the initial quarter with an undefeated Hawks team, able to catch them off-guard in the middle and even taking the lead at one point.

But a seasoned Hawks squad was able to tighten up quickly, feeding the ball efficiently to one-two punch Danni Pickett and Ashlea Mawer in the circle with ease.
This was combined with solid mid-court defense and transition from centre Jamie Symons, winger Steph Walker and defender Tessa Coote. The Cavs and Hawks will play Waratah and Kingston Blues respectively at the Silverdome on Sunday.
