Mr Duigan was unanimously endorsed by the Tasmanian Liberals party executive for the position.

Mr Duigan said in a statement that he intended to bring real results to his home electorate.
"I've lived most of my life in Launceston - the electorate of Windermere is my home, in the community I love," he said.
"I am running for Windermere because our community needs real results, not just talk. We need a representative who will help create new local jobs in our region."
