Co-captain Caitlyn Webster and fellow opener Amy Duggan put on 47 for the opening wicket before Duggan was bowled by Charlotte Layton for 24.
A change in partners didn't stop Webster's momentum as the Greater Northern Raiders star continued to pile on the runs with all-rounder Meg Radford - combining for 57 for the second wicket.
Webster departed for 52 off 45 as Radford picked up where she left off, smacking her way to an unbeaten 48 off 34 balls to steer the Knights to 4-147.
Layton was the Lions' best, taking 2-20 off her four overs as Georgie Nicolson (1-7) and Claire Alexander (1-31) also picked up wickets.

Launceston lost key pillar Ianthe Boden for 11 in the second over after finding the boundary twice as Victoria Geale and Lynn Hendley set about chasing the target.
Hendley also fell for 11 in the seventh before South brought Deb Reynolds on to bowl, which proved to be a masterstroke.
The Old Scotch women's football coach took 3-17 off her four overs - including two in two balls - to completely turn the game on its head and put it in South's favour.
From there, Lisa Battle followed in her footsteps to take 2-3 off her two overs, leaving the Lions at 9-68 after their 20 with Boden and Hendley top scoring.
The Saturday match-up was the only one of the round as Friday's scheduled Mowbray and Riverside game was washed out.
